The person comes first.
Golf may open the door, but the film should reveal a life, a relationship, a place or a question that matters beyond the game.
GSML Documentaries
The first GSML documentaries are in development. The ambition is to make intimate, honest films that explore the person more than the golfer—and the part the game plays in real lives.
What we’re building
GSML is setting out to tell thoughtful, cinematic stories about people, places and communities around golf: personal journeys, friendships, volunteers, charities, unusual characters and the clubs doing something that deserves to be seen.
There are no finished films to point you towards just yet. For now, this is an open invitation to help us find the people and stories the first films should be about.
The approach
Golf may open the door, but the film should reveal a life, a relationship, a place or a question that matters beyond the game.
The aim is to spend time with people as things happen—not rely only on formal interviews or manufacture emotion that is not there.
Every contributor should feel listened to, represented honestly and comfortable with the story they have chosen to share.
A story in mind?
You might be writing about yourself, nominating someone else, or telling us about a club, charity, project or community we should know. It does not need to sound extraordinary. It just needs to be honest.
Sending an idea starts a conversation only. It is not a commitment to take part or appear on camera.
